Under the visionary guidance of Honourable Vice-Chancellor and President Prof. (Dr.) Padmakali Banerjee, The School of Liberal Studies, Centre for Innovation in Skills and Social Entrepreneurship (CISSE), and the Department of Training and Placement organized the Summer Spectrum – National Art and Design Symposium 2023 at Sir Padampat Singhania University from May 10 to 12, 2023. In the inaugural ceremony, the honorable Vice-chancellor accentuated the importance of the workshop that aligns with the guidelines of NEP 2020. The symposium offered hands-on sessions, expert lectures, and guidance from distinguished guests and artists. Eminent artists across the country conducted workshops and guided the students. These include Prof. Vidyasagar Upadhyay: Renowned academician, artist, printmaker, and art curator.Mr. Lalit Sharma: Renowned miniature artist. Mr. Vinay Sharma: Contemporary artist and founder of Ateet Raag Studio. Dr. Vijay M Dhore: Contemporary artist, academician, and art researcher. Dr. Ranjan Kumar Mallik: Contemporary artist and Dean Art & Design, Chitkara University.

Pro President Col. (Dr.) Sanjiv Tomar, Deans, and faculty members too encouraged the students to make the best of the opportunity.  The event was a grand success as it motivated the students to explore their creative potential and contributed to their holistic development.
