Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur and L&T EduTech have signed MoU on May 27, 2024 to jointly run industry integrated BTech programs in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering. SPSU is the first university to launch the industry integrated engineering programs in association with L&T EduTech in southern Rajasthan. Prof. (Dr.) Prithvi Yadav, President and Vice Chancellor SPSU, stated that this partnership would revolutionize engineering education by providing students with live industry exposure through simulated laboratories and immersive programs. Representatives from L&T EduTech, Mr. Ashok Sahu and Mr. Apurva Sinha, emphasized that the company will offer internship support and job opportunities to students. L&T EduTech is a subsidiary of Larsen and Toubro (L&T), an Indian multinational company that operates in over 50 countries worldwide. The joint BTech programs aim to enhance students' conceptual understanding and expose them to professional practices from an industry perspective, thereby increasing their employability and creating industry-ready talent. The admission to this program is currently open for the July 2024 semester.
