‘Numerous new faces each with a million dreams’ is what describes Orion’s 2023, as both newcomers and the senior students, gathered for the Fresher’s Party of Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur on Oct 19, 2023. The event was brought to life through the leadership and guidance of distinguished individuals including Col. Sanjay Sinha, Head of Education, JK Cement Ltd, Prof. (Dr.) M.K. Vajpayee, President, and Col. (Dr.) Sanjiv Tomar, Pro President. The event was full of fun-filled activities, pulsating ambience, flashing lights and foot-tapping music that showcased the abundance of talent of the students. The extravaganza reached its pinnacle with the rocking band performance that added to the fiesta. The most awaited event of the day was Mr. and Ms. Fresher. The final round of the competition was judged by Col. Sanjay Sinha, Dr. Prasun Chakraborty, Dr. Arun Kumar and Dr. Shweta Lalwani. Pranav Sankhla (B.Tech, CSE) and Priyanshi Patwa (BBA) were crowned as Mr. and Ms. Fresher 2023. Orion's 2023 focused on building harmonious bonds, celebrating equity and diversity. The camaraderie and the enthusiastic participation of the students set the tone for a fantastic year ahead. The University applauded Dr. Monika Anand, Dr. Deepak Vyas, Dr. Shibani Banerjee and Dr. Archana Gajbhiye and all the faculty members who were instrumental in putting together such a wonderful event with the students.
