Today February 1, 2023, Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur signed an Memorandum of Understanding with The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME).  Mr. Pravin R Joshi, Dy. Director & Head Extension Centre Udaipur MSMETDC, The Ministry of MSME, Government of India was present for signing of the MoU. Registrar Dr. Sanjay Mishra The Honourable Vice Chancellor and President of the University Prof.(Dr.) Padmakali Banerjee appreciated the crucial role that MSME plays in the creation of a holistic ecosystem for sustainable growth and accelerating the economic development of the country. Moving ahead with inclusive education and committed to develop employable skills and provide hands on learning experience she highlighted the establishment of various Centres of Excellence namely: Centre for Sustainable Energy, Centre for Instrumentation facility and Centre for Innovation in Skills & Social Entrepreneurship at the University. She stated that this MoU will up skill the innovative abilities, entrepreneurial skills and sharing of resources for the community at large. Mr. Pravin R Joshi discussed the Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Certification courses, Logistics supply chain management, various programmes and initiatives of MSME. Focusing on project based learning Dr. Sanjiv Tomar Pro- President of the University too stressed on the University’s initiative of the Robotics programme and drone based applications. Dean Academics Prof. Bhawana Adhikari highlighted the implementation of NEP 2020 at SPSU. Digital Media expert, Mr. Koustubh Bhattacharya, Consultant, Advaiya was also present during the event. The Registrar Dr. Sanjay Mishra signed the Mou on behalf of SPSU. All Deans, Senior Faculty Members and Officials of the University witnessed and applauded the event.
