The School of Management at SPSU organizes Expert Lecture Series with a focus on the holistic development of the students and to assist the students in developing professional skills including self-management, planning and critical thinking. The expert talks are a way of augmenting the students with the latest updates of the industries and technical know-how. As a part of the series Eminent Scholar Dr. Ashish Vora delivered lectures on Nov 21- 22, 2022.

In the session on “The Journey of Exploring You” the concept of self-discovery, self-assessment, self-motivation etc. were explained through goal oriented approach. The session also highlighted the essential qualities that a student must possess to excel academically in life. The lecture on “Understanding Contemporary Issues of Economics” elucidated issues related to poverty, fiscal deficit, population, unemployment, energy, environment, corruption, and inflation in India. Contemporary management practices and strategies to overcome the economic problems that persist in India were outlined and discussed with the students. The enriching sessions were accompanied by the queries of the students that were well answered by the expert. Dr. Manish Dadhich under the guidance of Dean SOM Prof. Sadananda Prusty coordinated the sessions.
