Abhinav Kumar Suryavanshi

Rajiv Sethi, event design for the fashion brand Pero, and leadership roles in export houses, where he headed teams designing lighting and interior products for markets in Europe and America.In academia, Abhinav has contributed to institutions such as Vivekanand Global University and Manipal University through his role at ImaginXP (now part of CollegeDekho), where he designed curricula, conducted workshops, and mentored student teams to multiple national-level victories, including at IITs.
Now serving as an Assistant Professor at Sir Padampat Singhaniya Univeristy, he is known for creating interactive, case study–driven classrooms that encourage students to think beyond prescribed content and engage with design in practical, real-world contexts. This approach has helped him build a positive, open environment where students confidently share their ideas, explore creative problem-solving, and develop a strong design voice.Proficient in a wide range of industry tools—including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Framer, and Proto.io—Abhinav integrates human-centered design principles, branding strategy, and sustainability-driven thinking into his teaching, inspiring students to become not only skilled designers but also socially responsible innovators.
Ms. Yasha Purohit
Assistant Professor
Yasha brings a diverse academic and professional background, holding a Master’s degree in Fashion Management and a Bachelor’s degree specializing in Fashion Design. She has further specialized in Brand Management from IIT Delhi and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Design from Banasthali Vidyapith. Her interdisciplinary expertise enables her to bridge traditional design sensibilities with contemporary digital practices.
Her areas of specialization include Fashion Design, UI/UX Design, Brand Management, Visual Communication, and Design Strategy. She is particularly passionate about exploring the intersection of traditional crafts and digital transformation, with research interests focused on the digitalization of craft clusters, studying the evolution of traditional practices into contemporary trends, and understanding how design can support sustainability and cultural preservation.
Yasha strongly believes that design education should go beyond classroom teaching. Her goal is to ensure that students receive practical, studio-based, and industry-oriented learning experiences that prepare them for real-world challenges. She actively encourages students to participate in competitions, exhibitions, workshops, live projects, and industry collaborations, helping them gain visibility and confidence in the competitive design and glamour industries.
Her teaching philosophy centers on creating an engaging, collaborative, and inspiring learning environment where students can develop their unique creative voice. By combining hands-on learning with mentorship, Yasha strives to shape designers who are not only skilled professionals but also innovative thinkers and responsible creators ready to lead the future of design.
