Prof(Dr) Deepak Vyas

Dy Dean - FAS
Dr. Deepak Vyas presently working as Dy Dean (FAS) SPSU with a teaching Experience more than 25 years with several administrative positions at Department and University level. Actively involved in research problems based on Environmental studies including water and soil pollutions with several publications in international and national journals of repute. Guided several research scholars during the course of research and is presently working in the capacity of Proctor, Overall Club In charge, Presiding Officer for Examination, Member of Academic council, Member BOS(SOE), Member of Employee grade(iv) committee, Member of Disciplinary committee, Nodal officer for UGC, Member of student Grievance cell and Chairman Anti-ragging committee.

Dr. Ram Boojh

Professor of Practice, Environmental Sustainability
Dr. Boojh is a highly accomplished environment and sustainability professional with over 40 years of experience with organizations like the Government of Uttar Pradesh, UNEP, and UNESCO. He previously headed the Natural Sciences division of the UNESCO South Asia office and currently advises the Mobius Foundation. He has also worked on a transboundary landscape initiative involving Bhutan, India, and Nepal.

He has served as a guest faculty, visiting professor, and research mentor at numerous prestigious institutions, including the University of Manchester, MIT, BHU, and JNU. Dr. Boojh is also a co-founder of the World Ocean Network in France and is an executive board member of the Conservation for the Oceans Foundation, USA. His extensive publications include over 100 research papers and 15 books.

Since 2019, he has organized the International Conference on Sustainability Education (ICSE) in partnership with over 50 prominent national and international organizations, including UNEP and UNESCO. He also mentors youth in the Youth for Earth and Youth for Ocean programs, empowering them with green skills and entrepreneurship.

Lt. (Dr.) D S Chouhan

Professor
Lt. (Dr.) D S Chouhan is an Professor at the Department of Mathematics, School of Engineering, Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, Rajasthan. With 26 years of UG & PG teaching and 24 years of research experience, he specializes in studying Inflationary Cosmological Models in General Relativity. He holds M.Sc. (1998) and Ph.D. (2003) degrees from Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. He has published 15 international and 5 national level research papers in prestigious journals like Springer and Elsevier, indexed in SCIE, ESCI, Scopus, and Web of Science databases. Lt. Chouhan is a life member of various professional bodies including the Indian Mathematical Society and Ramanujan Mathematical Society. He is an advisory committee member for over 25 Ph.D. scholars and has guided one Ph.D. student.Recognized by the Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, he contributed to the development of a comprehensive glossary of Mathematics.
Lt. Chouhan has organized workshops and industrial visits sponsored by the Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of Rajasthan. He is an active participant and committee member for national and international conferences. As an Associate NCC Officer, he completed the pre-commission course and has been commissioned as Lieutenant by the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. He has received commendations for his exceptional service in NCC activities and has groomed numerous NSS and NCC cadets, with several of his guided students now serving as commissioned officers in the armed forces. Additionally, he has received appreciation from SPIC MACAY and commendation from the Air Commodore for his outstanding contributions.

Dr.Prithvi Singh

Associate Professor
Dr. Prithvi Singh, Associate Professor in the Department Of Sciences, has 19 years of experience in teaching and research, with specialization in Atomic and Molecular Physics and Computational Quantum Mechanics/computing. He has published more than 30 research papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings indexed in SCOPUS, SCI, and Web of Science. He has organized and chaired major international scientific events, including the 13 th Asian International Seminar on Atomic and Molecular Physics in 2018 at Udaipur, India, jointly with TIFR and IIT Bombay. At Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU), he established the Computational & Interdisciplinary Physics Research Lab through government-funded DST projects. His achievements include receiving the prestigious Professorship Award from the American Physical Society’s Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) at Missouri University, USA, and a Young Scientist Research Project from SERB, Government of India. He has also received research support from IUPAP (France) and the Gordon Research Organization (USA).
He has served as a Visiting Professor at institutions such as Missouri University of Science & Technology (USA), University of Rennes 1 (France), Swansea University (UK), and École Polytechnique (France), and has worked as a visiting scientist at MIT, Harvard University, Max Planck Institute (Germany), and TIFR (India). He has been awarded more than twelve fully funded international travel grants from DST, CSIR, CCSTDS, INSA, and leading global institutions, enabling him to present his work in countries including France, the UK, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Japan, and the USA. He also successfully completed a CNRS-supported international collaborative project focused on electron track structure modeling during his post- doctoral research at the Centre d’Études Nucléaires de Bordeaux, France. Dr. Omprakash Suwalka

Associate Professor
Research: Nanomaterials, Condensed Matter Physics Dedicated researcher specializing in the dynamic realms of nanomaterials and condensed matter physics. My expertise lies in exploring the synthesis and characterization of intricate fine particle magnetic systems, notably mixed spinel ferrites. Proficient in crafting both bulk and nano-sized Ni substituted Co-Zn ferrites through meticulous chemical co-precipitation methods. Adept at employing an array of cutting-edge characterization techniques such as X- ray diffractometer, Mössbauer spectroscopy, Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM), and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), coupling comprehensive analysis to unravel fundamental insights.

Dr Tulika Chakrabarti

Associate Professor

Dr. Tulika Chakrabarti,Ph.D (Science) from Jadavpur University, in 2013. Presently
working as Associate Professor, Faculty of Applied Science (Chemistry), at Sir
Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur. She aims to improve learners’ knowledge
through creative teaching and learning, research, and community service. She has
12 years of Teaching and 16 years of research experience. To her credit are 5
student awarded M.tech (Civil , Environmental engineering ) as Major advisor as
well as 2 students are awarded Ph.D degree as Co-advisor.


Research and Innovation:
Dr Tulika has more than 50 reputed publications, 41 international granted
patents, eight Indian granted copyrights, and two books.

Dr. Arvind Sharma

Dr. Arvind Sharma
Dr.Arvind Sharma has 19+ years of academic experience in the field of Mathematics (Engineering, Pharmacy and Management). He has completed his PhD in “Gneneral Relativity and Cosmology” from MLSU, Udaipur. He has completed his M.Phil. in Mathematics from MKU Chennai. He is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Mathematics at Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur. He has published more than 21 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences. He has attended more than 17 national and international workshops, faculty development programmes and conferences.

Dr. Yashoverdhan Vyas

Dr. Yashoverdhan Vyas
Dr. Yashoverdhan Vyas, brings over 25 years of extensive teaching experience to the academic arena. His teaching journey has traversed prestigious institutions such as Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU), Udaipur, Amity University, Noida, and current institution. Proficient in diverse Mathematics courses catering to numerous UG/PG programs, he possesses a robust grasp of mathematical sciences.

Having qualified the JOINT CSIR-UGC TEST (NET) FOR LECTURESHIP + JRF in June 1999, Dr. Vyas attain Lectureship eligibility in 1999 and worked as CSIR-NET Research Scholar at MLSU. His Ph.D. thesis boasts publication of all chapters in 6 WoS/Scopus/UGC-Care indexed journals.
His research portfolio encompasses 25 impactful papers, chapters, and an Edited Book, including 18 as Principal author & 5 with international co-authors, published in esteemed SCIE/Scopus and other journals.

As a committed academician, Dr. Vyas serves as a Reviewer for prestigious journals like Mathematical Reviews, American Mathematical Society, USA and esteemed SCIE/Scopus and other journals. He has reviewed more than 40 research papers and participated in numerous workshops/FDPs/Conferences to date. With a dedication to nurturing future scholars, Dr. Vyas has supervised FOUR PhD candidates in Mathematics. His expertise has been sought after, leading to Invited Lectures at national conferences/workshops organized by institutions like the National Academy of Sciences, India, and Madurai Kamraj University. Internationally recognized, Dr. Vyas collaborates with esteemed scholars such as Prof. HM Srivastava from the University of Victoria, Canada, etc. His contributions to the realm of Mathematics underscore his unwavering commitment to scholarly excellence and mentorship.

Dr. Sonal Jain

Dr. Sonal Jain is a faculty member in the Department of Data Science and Mathematics at Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur. She specializes in Mathematical Modeling, Computational Mathematics, Epidemiology, Fractional and Fractal Calculus, and the application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in applied sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from MNIT Jaipur and an EPGP in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence from IIT Guwahati.

Dr. Jain has an extensive research record with 40+ publications in reputed SCI and Scopus-indexed journals. According to Google Scholar, she has an h-index of 14, an i10-index of 18, and over 670 citations, reflecting the impact and visibility of her scholarly contributions. Her work spans fractional-order differential equations, reaction–diffusion systems, epidemiological modeling, and numerical methods.
She has served in academic and research positions across India, UAE, and Turkey, including a Postdoctoral Fellowship at UAE University and a Visiting Associate Professorship at Usak University. She has received notable recognitions such as the Best Research Award (Woxsen University, 2023) and the NBHM International Travel Grant, and has been actively involved in organizing international conferences, curriculum development, and interdisciplinary collaborations.

Her current research focuses on integrating advanced computational techniques with AI/ML frameworks to study complex biological, chemical, and ecological systems. She continues to contribute to the global research community through publications, mentorship, and international academic engagement.
