SPSU Report on Union Budget- 2024
The National Service Scheme (NSS) of Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, organized Union Budget 2024-25 event featuring group poster presentations. The event took place in orientation program (Sangyan- 2024) on July 31, 2024, at 3:00 PM in the university library.
The event saw participation from over 130 students, who formed 14 groups to present their posters on various aspects of the Union Budget 2024-25. Each group delved into different themes of the budget, highlighting key points and their implications on the economy and society.
Objectives of the Event:
- To enhance students’ understanding of the Union Budget 2024-25.
- To encourage collaborative learning and teamwork among students.
- To provide a platform for students to showcase their research and presentation skills.
- To create awareness about four castes (poor, women, farmers, & youth) and the impact 9 subthemes of the budget on various sectors.
Highlights:
- Interactive Sessions: Students engaged in discussions and answered questions from their peers and faculty members, promoting an interactive learning environment.
- Diverse Themes: The poster presentations covered a wide range of topics, including fiscal policy, public expenditure, revenue receipts, and specific allocations for different sectors.
- Visual Appeal: The posters were creatively designed, making the information accessible and engaging for the audience.
The event was a great success, with students thoroughly understanding the Union Budget 2024-25. The NSS coordinator, Dr Manish Dadhich, extended heartfelt gratitude to all the participants for their dedication in preparing presentation on the union budget 2024-25. In the end, the NSS team including Dr Harish Tiwari, Dr Amrit Ghosh extended heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Prithvi Yadav, Campus Director, Lt. Col.
