On August 26 2022, a performance on ‘Kabir Gayan’ by the renowned folk singer Ramachandra Gangoliya and group was held at SPSU as part of the cultural tie-up with Spic Macay. For the past 25 years, Ramachandra Gangoliya has been one of the well-known folk singers of Malwa folk songs, kabir, and nathapanthi bhajans in the folk style of Madhya Pradesh. He is included as an Empanelment Artist in the Ministry of Culture, Government of India’s ICR (Festival of India) list. He has received several awards at the national and international forum. The distinguished guests were welcomed by Prof. Sadananda Prusty, Provost, Prof. Sanjay Mishra, Registrar, Prof. Deepak Vyas (Proctor), Prof. Monika Anand (Deputy, Dean Student Affairs) and Spic Macay Coordinator, SPSU, Dr. D.S. Chouhan. The fascinating musical performance was enjoyed by the students, faculty members and the entire SPSU fraternity.
