The Honourable President and Vice Chancellor, Sir Padampat Singhania Unversity, Udaipur Prof. (Dr.) Padmakali Banerjee inaugurated The Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF), on December 21, 2022. The CIF envisions to facilitate the instrumentation resources to the researchers and impart training to develop skilled resource personnel. Prof. (Dr.) Padmakali Banerjee emphasised on the milestones achieved by University in the academic year 2022-23 and applauded the entire SPSU fraternity for their untiring efforts. Focusing on the SDG goals she thrusted on innovations and how education can help the young generation in becoming the change agents and take the Nation forward. The Centre shall help the researchers across the city and nearby areas to come under one roof, collaborate, utilize the instrumentation facility and advance their research.

The CIF, SPSU successfully conducted “A Training programme on Operation and Utilization of the Scientific Instruments”. The Pro-President Prof. (Dr.) Sanjiv Tomar encouraged the students and faculty members to create a research culture and ecosystem within the University by publishing good papers. The activity was coordinated by Dr. Archana Gajbhiye. A good number of students enthusiastically participated in the training programme. The training was provided on the working of the instruments and their applications by the faculty experts Dr. Prithvi Singh, Dr. Anand Bhaskar, Dr. Ritesh Tirole, Mr. Pankaj Mohan Rastogi Mr. Aman Jain and Dr. Tulika Chakraborty. The Registrar Dr. Sanjay Mishra, Deans, HoD’s and faculty members joined hands in the journey towards imparting knowledge and achieving excellence in the field of education and research.
