On Friday, October 25, 2024, Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, witnessed "Orion’s 2024" – the eagerly awaited Fresher’s Party. Organized by second-year students in collaboration with Student Welfare, the event featured lively games and a captivating cultural evening. Talented students showcased their skills through dynamic dance, melodious singing, and instrumental performances, energizing the packed venue. On this momentous day, the Proctor, Dr. Deepak Vyas, proudly announced the newly elected student council, marking a significant step in the university’s journey. The Honourable President, Prof. (Dr.) Prithvi Yadav, addressed the students with an inspiring message, urging them to embrace the university's values and maintain its standards of discipline and excellence. Prof. Yadav highlighted the importance of building character and resilience, encouraging students to make the most of their opportunities at SPSU. The celebration was further honoured by the presence of the chief guest, Mrs. Savita Yadav, adding to the occasion’s significance and joy.

The highlight of the evening saw Ms. Krupa Thakkar crowned as Ms. Fresher 2024, and Mr. Shivansh Joshi (24CS003135) awarded the title of Mr. Fresher 2024. With the night in full swing, students took to the dance floor, enjoying the vibrant DJ music. The event, coordinated by Dr. D.S. Chouhan, Deputy Dean of Student Welfare, and Dr. Archana Gajbhiye, Student Welfare Coordinator, offered a memorable welcome for first-year students, marking the beginning of their SPSU journey with joy and excitement.
