Sir Padampat Singhania University organized the 9 th lecture of international expert lecture series on May 29, 2024. The esteemed speaker of the event Prof. Sri Atmaja P. Rosyidi (Professor and Director, School of PG Studies) Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta, Indonesia delivered the lecture. Prof. Atmaja provided an in- depth exploration of "Wavelet Spectrogram Analysis of Surface Waves for Soil Dynamics Characteristics." He detailed the methodology for measuring surface waves and analyzing their behaviour using wavelet spectrogram techniques. He stated that this is crucial for understanding soil dynamics and assessing soil properties with high precision. The lecture sparked considerable interest among SPSU faculty members, who actively participated and engaged in discussions, emphasizing the lecture's impact and relevance to their research and academic pursuits. Dr. Lokesh Gupta welcomed the speaker and provided an overview of the "Expert Lecture Colloquium 2024" series and its progress. Dr. Tulika Chakrabarti expressed gratitude to the speaker and thanked all members for their support.
