Dr. Prasun Chakrabarti
Senior Professor & Dean (Officiating)-School of Engineering
Prof. (Dr.) Prasun Chakrabarti received his Ph.D. (Engg.) Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jadavpur University in 2009 and higher doctoral degree D.Litt from Sambalpur University in 2022. In 2022 he registered for another higher doctoral degree (D.Sc.). He is working as Director, Directorate of Research and Publication and Dean (International Affairs) and Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He became Full Professor at only 34 years and is one of the youngest Deputy Vice Chancellors of Gujarat at only 40 years. He has 100+ SCI/Scopus indexed publications,11 books ,83 granted International patents and 16 granted Indian copyrights. He has supervised 11 Ph.D. candidates successfully. On various research assignments, he has visited Waseda University Japan (2012) availing prestigious INSA-CICS travel grant), University of Mauritius (2015), Nanyang Technological University Singapore (2015,2016,2019), Lincoln University College Malaysia (2018), National University of Singapore (2019), Asian Institute of Technology Bangkok Thailand (2019) and ISI Delhi (2019).

Dr. Alok Kumar

Dr. Alok Kumar is working as Professor in the Department of Computer Science Engineering, Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, India. He also Founder of Raccord IT Solutions, Jaipur, which is involved in advanced application and software development.
Dr. Kumar has a rich professional experience in Data Science Consulting, Developing Data Products, Big Data Implementation, Big Data Visualization, Data management and maintenance for Banking, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Scientific Research, and Data-Driven Marketing Sectors. He worked as researcher at Ghent University, Belgium and involved in the industrial consultancy. He was a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Mathematical Engineering of Universite Catholique de Louvain, Belgium and associated with the “Large Graphs and Networks” research group and involved in an EU-FP7 FIRE Project “EULER” with Prof. Jean-Charles Delvenne and Prof. Vincent Blondel.
Prior to that, he worked briefly at Department of Computer Science and Engineering of National Institute of Technology Patna, India as an Assistant Professor.
He obtained PhD in Information Technology from IIIT Allahabad, India in the area of Internet architecture and IoT. He completed Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from MBM Engineering College, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, India and Master of Technology in Computer Engineering from Center for Development of Advanced Computing, Noida, India. He has published several research articles in the international journals and conferences of repute. Dr. Kumar delivered many technical talks on different topics at various prestigious academic and industrial events.
Dr. Naveen Kumar
Professor & Head Dept.- Mechanical Engineering
Prof. Naveen Kumar is serving as Professor and Head in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He received his Master’s of Engineering from IIT Roorkee and Doctoral degree from NIT Kurukshetra. He has more than 21 research papers including papers in SCI and web of science indexed journals and conferences to his credit. Dr. Kumar has successfully guided two PhD scholars and currently supervising many research scholars.
He has also supervised three MTech Thesis. Dr Naveen Kumar organized three international conferences as a convener where researchers from across the globe participated. He also has published Indian patent and book chapters. He has also delivered expert lectures on additive manufacturing. He is also serving in reviewer panel of reputed international journals. His current research interest areas include Flexible Manufacturing System, Intelligent manufacturing, optimization techniques and renewable energy. Dr. Kumar has more than 20 years of experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Lt. (Dr.) D S Chouhan
Associate Professor & Head Dept. - Mathematics
Lt. (Dr.) D S Chouhan is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics, School of Engineering, Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, Rajasthan. With 26 years of UG & PG teaching and 24 years of research experience, he specializes in studying Inflationary Cosmological Models in General Relativity. He holds M.Sc. (1998) and Ph.D. (2003) degrees from Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. He has published 15 international and 5 national level research papers in prestigious journals like Springer and Elsevier, indexed in SCIE, ESCI, Scopus, and Web of Science databases. Lt. Chouhan is a life member of various professional bodies including the Indian Mathematical Society and Ramanujan Mathematical Society. He is an advisory committee member for over 25 Ph.D. scholars and has guided one Ph.D. student. Recognized by the Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, he contributed to the development of a comprehensive glossary of Mathematics. Lt. Chouhan has organized workshops and industrial visits sponsored by the Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of Rajasthan. He is an active participant and committee member for national and international conferences. As an Associate NCC Officer, he completed the pre-commission course and has been commissioned as Lieutenant by the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. He has received commendations for his exceptional service in NCC activities and has groomed numerous NSS and NCC cadets, with several of his guided students now serving as commissioned officers in the armed forces. Additionally, he has received appreciation from SPIC MACAY and commendation from the Air Commodore for his outstanding contributions.

He has more than 24 Years of experience which includes serving in the industry and academia. He has done his BE from NIT, Rourkela, and ME from VIT, Vellore. He has done his Ph.D. research work in the area of Machine Learning and Image Processing. He has been conferred with the best paper awards for his research work by Elsevier and Springer.
He has been granted two patents from GOI and is a Co-Investigator for two projects funded by BIRAC and MSME(2022-23). He has written more than 40 research papers in the field of Image Processing and Machine Learning in reputed journals including ESCI, Scopus, and Web of Science-based journals.

Dr. Deepak Vyas presently working as Professor and Head, Department of Chemistry at SPSU with a teaching Experience of about 22 years with several administrative positions at Department and University level. Actively involved in research problems based on Environmental studies including water and soil pollutions with several publications in international and national journals of repute. Guided several research scholars during the course of research and is presently working in the capacity of Proctor, In charge Sports, Overall Club In charge, Presiding Officer for Examination,Member of Academic council, Member BOS(SOE), Member of Employee grade(iv)committee, Member of Disciplinary committee, Nodal officer for UGC, Member ofstudent Grievance cell and Chairman Anti-ragging committee.
Dr. Monika Anand

Monika believes that communication is the key

Twenty years of experience in teaching and training
continue to reinforce this belief. Her goal is to enhance
the ability of people to be effective communicators,
especially in a corporate setting.
As Deputy Dean – School of Liberal Studies, she works
towards creating a vibrant interdisciplinary environment
where students engage with diverse perspectives and
cultivate a deeper understanding of the world around
them.
In her role as a Professor and Head, Department of English she facilitates the
development and proficiency of communication skills for students at undergraduate
and postgraduate levels. Her drive lies in working with students and creating
experiential learning environments that are stimulating, encouraging and adaptive to
the varied needs and backgrounds of students. She helps aspiring students and
young professionals develop a personal brand which further helps in establishing
their executive presence.
Monika is a PhD in English literature, an Associate Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic
Programming and a certified Trainer by MEPSC, NSDC and Skill India. Her
responsibilities apart from teaching courses on Business Communication, Corporate
Communication, Soft Skills, English Literature and Language over the years include
designing, implementing and monitoring soft skills training strategies; coordinating
with leading trainers from various sectors to fine-tune and calibrate training
methodologies; conducting training and impact evaluation of training/teaching
sessions.
Dr. Shibani Banerjee
Professor
Dr. Shibani Banerjee works as Professor, English at Sir Padampat Singhania
University, Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. With a vast experience of 20 years of teaching
the graduate and undergraduate students her pedagogical philosophy is deeply
rooted in fostering not only linguistic proficiency but also inculcating values of
compassion and social responsibility among her students. She has a gold medal in
Masters in English and qualified NET (National Eligibility Test for Lecturership in
India) organized by the University Grants Commission of India. She has been
awarded by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, New Delhi, Jawaharlal memorial
fund and several professional bodies of repute for academics and exemplary
performance in debate competitions. Her research interests converge at the
intersection of literature and societal transformation and encompasses Women’s
Writing, Sustainability, Gender Studies, Indian Writings in English and English
Language Teaching and Learning. She has published papers in International and
referred journals. Her research also focuses on sustainability, emphasizing its pivotal
role in fostering societal resilience and environmental stewardship. She has served

Dr. Anandkumar Atalbihari Bhaskar

Energetic UG and PG level Associate Professor & Head of Department, Electronics & Communication Engineering, SIr Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, with 18 years of experience in universities of repute. Proponent of utilizing technology to enhance teaching. Proficient in clearly explaining complex topics to students with all level of scientific understanding. Total six Ph.D. in Electronics and Comm. Engg. thesis guided and awarded the degree, five are ongoing. Research interests are in the field of Embedded Systems, Wireless Sensor Networks and Internet of Things.
Dr. Archna Gajbhiye

Dr. Archana Gajbhiye is the Head of the Department of Biotechnology since 2011. She has more than 20 years of work experience including teaching, research and industrial experience. Her area of specialization is Microbial Biotechnology. Her research interests include Biofuel production and Medicinal properties of endophytic fungi, bioinformatics. She has published more than 20 research papers, a book chapter, and has submitted seven nucleotide sequences derived from Bacillus subtilis and Aspergillus spp. to NCBI. She has supervised three Ph. D scholars as Major Advisor and supervised several projects of B. Tech students. She has been involved in teaching various subjects such as Microbiology, Genetic Engineering, Recombinant DNA Technology, Downstream Processing, Industrial Biotechnology, Environmental Biotechnology, Bioenergetics and Metabolism, Analytical Techniques and bioinstrumentation, Immunology etc.

working as Assistant Professor in Department of Mathematics at Sir Padampat Singhania University,

faculty development programmes and conferences.
Dr. Ashutosh Gupta

Dr. Gupta has more than 26 years of teaching and academic experience. He had served in prestigious institutes ICFAI Tech Jaipur, BIT Mesra Extension Centre Jaipur, SKIT Jaipur, IET Alwar and Government Polytechnic Sawai Madhopur as Lecturer.

Dr. Om Prakash Suwalka

I am a dedicated researcher with a focus on the dynamic realms of nanomaterials
and condensed matter physics. My expertise lies in the synthesis and
characterization of intricate fine particle magnetic systems, notably mixed spinel
ferrites. Proficient in crafting both bulk and nano-sized Ni substituted Co-Zn
ferrites using meticulous chemical co-precipitation methods, I am skilled in
employing cutting-edge characterization techniques such as X-ray diffractometer,
Mössbauer spectroscopy, Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM), and
Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), coupling comprehensive analysis to
unravel fundamental insights. With six papers published in peer-reviewed
international journals and two in peer-reviewed national journals, alongside
presentations at 9 national and international conferences, I've demonstrated impact
and recognition in the field, evidenced by over 180 citations with an h-index of 6
and i10-index of 4. Additionally, boasting over 18 years of teaching experience
across various academic programs including B. Tech, M. Tech, B.Sc., and M. Sc., I
bring a seasoned perspective to education and research alike.
Dr. Pankaj Mohan Rastogi

Dr. Pankaj Mohan Rastogi, working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, Rajasthan (July 2018-Present). He completed his PhD “Effectiveness of nanofuel additives to biodiesel-diesel blends on performance and emissions of diesel engine” Under the supervision of Dr. Naveen Kumar from Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, Rajasthan, December 2022. He completed his M.Tech in Thermal Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University, Kota in 2013. He completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur, one of the topmost Government Engineering in Uttar Pradesh in 2002.
He has almost 20 years’ Experience (2 years Industrial Experience and 18+ year Academic Experience). He worked in Gehring India (A divn. of Ema India Ltd.), Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) as Graduate Engineer Trainee (December 2000 to November 2002).

As in Octomber 2023, I have experience of 18 years in teaching and 13 years in research. I have enjoyed making “complex
physics” simple for young learners and tried to help them in exploring more complex issues. I
have experience of teaching at one of the reputed engineering institutes as well as in the science college. I have taught nearly
five undergraduates, three graduate science/engineering courses along with two post graduate Physics course. I also have
experience of teaching at internationally reputed universities such as Missouri University of Science & Technology,
Missouri, Rolla, USA (under the Professorship Award in Physics 2017 by American Physical society, USA) and
University of Rennes 1, Rennes, France as visiting professor.

Christophe Champion at the Centre d’Études Nucléaires de Bordeaux, Bordeaux University Gradignan , France.
I am a theoretical Atomic and Molecular Physicist, specializing in the field of Charged particle interaction with Atoms, Ions and
Molecules. The cross section calculation of the charged particle interaction with matter is of interest in many research areas
such as astrophysics, atmospheric modeling, plasma physics, discharge physics, medical physics, and radiobiology.
I presented my research works in many international institutes and conferences such as in India, France, U.K., Poland, Germany,
Italy, Spain and USA etc. Our work has been published in leading international journals.
Dr. Ritesh Tirole

Dr. Ritesh Tirole obtained his B. Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Amaravati University in 1998. He obtained the M.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from RGPV, Bhopal in 2004. He was awarded with Gold Medal in M.E. degree. He then obtained Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering from MPUAT, Udaipur in 2019. Presently he is working as Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering Department at SPSU, Udaipur. He is the co-ordinator of Centre of Sustainable Energy Studies at SPSU. Also, he is a council Member of I E (India), Udaipur. He has an academic experience of more than 23 years in total.

Ms. Poonam Saini

Ms. Poonam Saini is working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Management at Sir Padampat Singhania University. She has been working since 2001 in the higher education sector and is one of the founder members of SPSU. She is the Chairperson of MBA (Business Analytics in Collaboration with SAS) and Coordinator of BCA and MCA Programmes at SPSU.
She is MCA, M.Phil. (CS) and pursuing her PhD in the area of Machine Learning. She has been conferred with the best paper awards for her research work by Elsevier and Springer. She has published more than 15 research papers in the field of Image Processing and Machine Learning. She is also having two Indian Patents to her credit. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in the same institution.
Aman’s professional journey is marked by his role as an Assistant Professor at Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, since July 2014.
