Central Instrumentation Facility
An instrumentation facility is a key need for any laboratory to carry out analysis, testing, research studies etc. All the academic departments may not be supported for their instrumentation facility as it requires separate space and involves high costs. To cater to such needs, address the limitations of space and cost, and develop the state-of-the-art research and development infrastructure, the University has established a Central Instrumentation Facility which presently serves the faculty and research students of the university. The university has a vision to gradually develop it into a world-class Centre of Excellence that will facilitate cutting-edge research in the frontier areas as well as inculcate a culture of interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary research. It is also proposed to open it for researchers and students from other institutions in the nearby region
