Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU), Udaipur, is deeply committed to the
holistic development of its students, promoting well-being, strengthening community
bonds, and driving societal transformation towards a more equitable society. In this
pursuit, the University proudly celebrates the achievement of 16 Senior NCC cadets
who successfully cleared the prestigious NCC ‘C’ Certificate Examination held in
March 2025.
The Honourable President and Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Prithvi Yadav,
congratulated the cadets for their dedication, discipline, and commitment to the NCC

UPSC written examination and a direct call for the SSB interview, along with bonus
marks in recruitment examinations for Central and State police services and
paramilitary forces.
SPSU provides excellent facilities to its NCC platoon, including a firing range and an
obstacle course, with rigorous training programmes conducted under the leadership
of Prof. (Lt.) (Dr.) D. S. Chouhan, Associate NCC Officer and Deputy Dean,
Students’ Welfare. Since 2018, more than 80 cadets from SPSU have earned the ‘C’
Certificate, and over 21 cadets have been commissioned as officers in the armed
forces—a testament to the University’s unwavering commitment to nurturing future
leaders of the nation.
