The Faculty of Data Science and Analytics (FDSA) is a newly established faculty positioned between
the Faculty of Management and the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics. We focus on the
intersection of data science and management, applying data-driven techniques to address real-world
management challenges. By integrating both managerial and technical expertise, we offer a
balanced, interdisciplinary approach. The FDSA was created in direct response to market demand,
reflecting the growing need for professionals skilled in both data science and its application in
business environments.

I am proud to welcome you to the Faculty of Data Science and Analytics (FDSA), where we combine
management and technology. Our goal is to give students the skills and knowledge they need to
succeed in today’s data-driven world, where data science and management come together to solve
important problems. At FDSA, we focus on innovation, critical thinking, and practical learning,
helping our graduates become leaders in this fast-changing field. I look forward to seeing the

Dean Academics
Dr Bhavana Adhikari
Dr Bhavana Adhikari is a Mechanical engineer with a doctorate in management and has a vast
experience of more than 25 years in teaching , research, training and academic administration. Dr
Adhikari is a highly accomplished academic with expertise in the field of educational innovation and
curriculum development. With a keen understanding of the evolving needs of students and the
changing landscape of education she has been instrumental in designing the flexible credit system
that aligns seamlessly with the National Education Policy 2020. She has been a resource person and
a trainer for Management Development Programmes at various national and international forums.
Her research interests include competency development, personality studies, employee
engagement, and management communication. A keen researcher she has published several books/
research papers in reputed refereed journals. She has been the principal coordinator of two
prestigious European Union, ERASMUS+ projects on Capacity Building in Higher Education.

Dr. Gour C. Saha
Senior Professor & Dean FDSA
Dr. Gour C. Saha is a Senior Professor of Business Analytics at Sir Padampat Singhania University in
Udaipur. With over 35 years of teaching and academic leadership experience across Trinidad &
Tobago, India, and Thailand, he previously held roles at institutions including the Kirloskar Institute
of Management, Pune and Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore. Dr. Saha also served as
Professor and founder Director of the Centre for Business Intelligence and Data Analytics at the
Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business in Trinidad and Tobago. He holds a PhD in Technology
Management from the Asian Institute of Technology and has authored numerous publications in
esteemed international journals.
