2. Particulars of Organization, Functions and Duties.

  • (a) Establishment: In 2007, through an Ordinance of State Govt. of Rajasthan.
  • (b) Main Objectives: To undertake research and studies in various branches of Science, Engineering & Technology, Hospitality & Management, and to achieve excellence and impart and disseminate knowledge in the said disciplines.
  • (c) Services being provided by the Institute.
    • Teaching UG and PG levels in Engineering, Science and Management
    • To undertake research, training and consultancy
    • To organize conferences, seminars and short-term courses
  • (d) Address of the University.

The Board of Management has representatives of State Government, nominees from Academia, Industries and Financial Institutions. The Academic Council and the Board of Studies have representatives from Academia and Industry. The Sexual Harassment Committee has members from women social activist. The Anti-Ragging Committee has members from Parents of the students.

4. Procedure followed in Decision Making Process.

The Board of Management, Chairperson, President, Registrar, Dean, Head of the Departments carry out various functions of the university as per the procedure laid down in the rules and regulation of the university. The decisions are communicated by announcements, notifications, advertisements and university website. The university takes decision regarding academic matters, students’ affairs, staff affairs, finance, facilities and infrastructure of the university.

5. The norms set by it for the discharge of its functions.

Various programmes of the university are set by the respective Academic Committees, which monitors progress and achievements of students pursuing various academic programmes.
