Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan Shri Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde Graces the 12th Convocation Ceremony of SPSU

The magnanimous Twelfth Convocation of Sir Padampat Singhania University for the graduating batches of 2025 was held on Tuesday, October 28 th , 2025 with great grandeur and enthusiasm. Shri Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan, graced the Convocation Ceremony as the Chief Guest. In his inspiring address, the Hon’ble Governor commended SPSU for its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and value-based education. He congratulated the graduating students and medal winners, urging them to contribute meaningfully to the vision of Viksit Bharat and to serve the nation with integrity, wisdom, and compassion.

The Convocation was presided over by the Honourable Chairperson of the University, Dr. Nidhipati Singhania. The Guests of Honour were Shri Cedric D’Souza-accomplished hockey coach, Shri Manoj Singhal- visionary industrialist, educationist and philanthropist, Smt. Archana Puran Singh- distinguished Actress and television personality. They were also conferred with Honoris Causa for the significant contribution in their respective fields. Dr. Raghavpat Singhania, Managing Director, JK Cement Ltd., Mr. Madhavkrishna Singhania, Joint MD and CEO, JK Cement Ltd, Shri Ajay Kumar Saraogi, Deputy MD and CFO, JK Cement Ltd, Col. (Dr.) Sanjay Sinha, Vice President & Head of Education, Education Vertical, JK Cement Ltd. Shri Mangal Dev, Head, Hitachi Railway Systems, Business India and South Asia, Prof. Nalinaksh Vyas, IIT Kanpur, Shri Dhruv Agarwal, President Strategy, Paramount Communications Ltd. along with other dignitaries graced the convocation ceremony.

The President Prof. (Dr.) Prithvi Yadav in his address highlighted the transformation of SPSU as Rajasthan’s first Sustainable University, Strategic Industry-Academia Partnerships, International collaborations, New Age courses, Pioneering Research, Key Milestones and Centers of Excellence.

331 UG, PG and PhD students from Faculty of Engineering and Management were awarded the degrees. The Chairperson’s Gold Medal for securing the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) amongst all the programmes of study offered by the University was awarded to Mr. Gudapelly Shri Hari from B.Tech (CSE). The President’s Medal for programme toppers were awarded to Naman Jain – MCA (Master of Computer Applications), Gudapelly Shri Hari – B.Tech (CSE) Chitra Malviya (MBA) and Devik Mundra (BBA). Registrar, Deans, Deputy Deans, Faculty, Eminent personalities across the country and people from media were a part of the grand celebration.
