Prof(Dr) Naveen Kumar
Professor & Deputy Dean, Faculty of Integrated and Advanced Technology
Prof. Naveen Kumar is serving as Professor in the Mechanical Engineering and Deputy
Dean of Faculty of Integrated and Advanced Technology. He received his Master’s of
Engineering from IIT Roorkee and Doctoral degree from NIT Kurukshetra. He has more
than 23 years of teaching and industry experience. Dr Kumar has contributed more than
23 research papers in reputed journals including papers in SCI and web of science
indexed journals and conferences to his credit. Dr. Kumar has successfully guided several
PhD and MTech thesis and currently supervising many research scholars.
Dr Naveen Kumar organized three international conferences as a convener where researchers from across the globe participated. He also has published Indian patent and book chapters. He has taken many expert sessions at Institute of Engineers Udaipur Local chapter and government Engineering colleges on additive manufacturing, flexible manufacturing and energy conservation. He is also serving in reviewer panel of reputed international journals. His current research interest areas includes Flexible Manufacturing System, Intelligent manufacturing, optimization techniques and renewable energy.

Dr. Archna Gajbhiye
Associate Professor, Biotechnology
Dr. Archana Gajbhiye has more than 20 years of work experience including teaching,
research and industrial experience. She has been involved in teaching various subjects
such as Microbiology, Genetic Engineering, Recombinant DNA Technology, Downstream
Processing, Industrial Biotechnology, Environmental Biotechnology, Bioenergetics and
Metabolism, Analytical Techniques and bioinstrumentation, Immunology, biomass &
biofuels, health informatics etc. Her area of specialization is Microbial Biotechnology.
Her research interests include Soil Microbiology, Biofuel production and Medicinal
properties of endophytic fungi. She was awarded RGNF JRF and SRF by the UGC during
her Doctorate degree programme. She has published more than 20 research articles and
has published the book chapter. Dr. Gajbhiye submitted seven nucleotide sequences
derived from Bacillus subtilis and Aspergillus spp. to National Center for Biotechnology
Information (NCBI, USA). Three research scholars obtained their Ph.D degree under her
supervision. She has supervised several research projects of B.Tech students. She has
been actively involved in the academic activities as designing of the programmes, NEP
2020 implementation, organizing training programmes, technical, cultural & sports
events etc. at SPSU, Udaipur.
Dr. Deepak Chandra Pandey
Assistant Professor, Mining Engineering
Dr. Deepak Chandra Pandey is currently working as Assistant Professor in Mining
Engineering. He has done his Bachelor of Engineering in Mining as the top performer,
M.tech in Mine Planning (Topper) and PhD in Mining (Topper), from the esteemed
College of Technology & Engineering in Udaipur, a prominent state government
university. Dr. Pandey boasts over 10+ years of combined experience in teaching and the
industrial sector. His professional journey includes stints at Vedanta Group (Sesa Goa),
Datamine Software, Ultratech Cement Ltd., College of Technology & Engineering, and
S.S. College of Engineering. Dr. Pandey has contributed significantly to his field by
publishing 16 technical papers and mentoring 10 M.tech scholars. Additionally, he plays
an active role as an organizing member of the Mining Engineer Association of India,
Udaipur Chapter.
Dr. Pandey’s expertise lies in mine planning and design using Datamine Software, with a
focus on surface mining, computer applications in mining, mine development, and
metal mining. He has also provided valuable mine planning consultancy services to
renowned companies such as Ultra-tech Cement Ltd. and Wonder Cement, establishing
himself as one of India’s leading experts in Datamine Software.
Dr. Avinash Ojha
Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering
Dr. Avinash Ojha has over Eleven years of industry and teaching experience at the
undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. He has completed his Bachelor in
Engineering (BE) degree from MITS (Deemed to be University), Gwalior, MP, Master of
Technology degree (M.Tech.) in Construction Technology and Management from
National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal, and Ph.D. from National Institute of
Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra. He has published research articles in SCI, Web of
Science, and Scopus-indexed journals, as well as national and international
conferences. Additionally, he has registered patents with the Indian Patent Office and is
actively involved in research, consultancy projects, and organizing workshops and
seminars. His teaching and research interests span across the domains of Concrete
Technology, Alkali Activated Binder, Geopolymer Concrete, and Construction
Management. Besides academics, he is actively engaged with students through the
mentorship program, counseling, and extracurricular activities.
Dr. Lokesh Gupta
Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering
Dr. Gupta has a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Recarpeting Applications of Cold Mixes in
the Wearing Courses of Urban Flexible Pavement) from Sardar Vallabhbhai National
Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat. He has received a Master of Engineering from
Bangalore University (INDIA) as a GOLD MEDALIST in Highway Engineering and a
Bachelor of Engineering with honors in Civil from Solapur University. He has about 09
years of teaching and industry experience and uses “Outcome-based Pedagogy” to
make teaching effective. He is presently working as an Assistant Professor and PG
Coordinator (Incharge- M.Tech: Structural, Environment, Transportation Engineering) in
Civil Engineering..
Dr. Gupta is actively involved as a reviewer, scientific and technical
committee member of various journals and conferences organized across the globe. He
works on different goal-oriented projects funded by the Department of Science of
Technology (DST) and has published around 20 research papers in high quality indexed
reputed Journal and conference like ASCE, Science Direct, Springer, TRB etc. He has
been awarded many organization/institutional memberships viz. life member of Indian
Road Congress (MIRC), Indian Concrete Institute (MICI), American Concrete Institute
India chapter (MACI), Indian Society for Technical Education (MISTE), International
Association of Engineers (MIAENG) and Member of Institution of Engineers India (MIE).
Mr. Manjeet Singh
Assistant Professor, Mining Engineering
Manjeet Singh’s academic journey boasts outstanding achievements in the realm of
Mining Engineering. Graduating as the top-performer and recipient of Gold Medals from both Rajasthan Technical University for his B. Tech in Mining Engineering and Maharana
Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology (MPUAT) in Udaipur for his M. Tech in Mine
Planning and Design, Building upon his stellar academic foundation, he has
accumulated four years of invaluable practical teaching experience in the field of Mining
Engineering. During this time, Manjeet has not only imparted knowledge but has also
provided mentorship to over twenty M. Tech students, guiding them through their
academic journeys and facilitating their professional development.
Manjeet’s research interests are diverse and encompass crucial aspects of mining
operations, including Mine Planning and Design, Mine Environment, Mine Management,
Drilling & Blasting, Safety & Risk Management in Mines, and Resource Utilization. Beyond
his scholarly pursuits, Manjeet plays a pivotal role within Mining Engineering as the
Project Coordinator Placement,Industry Visits, Expert Lectures and Internship
Coordinator. In these capacities, he actively supports students in securing placements
and internships, thus enabling them to embark on successful career paths. Manjeet’s
multifaceted contributions underscore his dedication to both academic excellence and
the holistic development of future mining professionals.
Dr. Pankaj Mohan Rastogi
Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering
Dr. Pankaj Mohan Rastogi is currently working as Associate Professor in Mechanical
Engineering. He has more than 21 years of work experience including teaching, research and
industrial experience. He has done his PhD from Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur,
Rajasthan, December 2022, Master of Technology in Thermal Engineering from Rajasthan
Technical University, Kota in 2013, Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from
Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur, one of the topmost Government Engineering in
Uttar Pradesh in 2000.
Beyond his scholarly pursuits, he plays a pivotal role within Mechanical Engineering as the Project Coordinator Placement, Industry Visits, Expert Lectures and Internship Coordinator. Dr. Arun Kumar

He has more than 24 Years of experience which includes serving in the industry and academia. He has done his BE from NIT, Rourkela, and ME from VIT, Vellore. He has done his Ph.D. research work in the area of Machine Learning and Image Processing. He has been conferred with the best paper awards for his research work by Elsevier and Springer.
He has been granted two patents from GOI and is a Co-Investigator for two projects funded by BIRAC and MSME(2022-23). He has written more than 40 research papers in the field of Image Processing and Machine Learning in reputed journals including ESCI, Scopus, and Web of Science-based journals.

Ms. Poonam Saini

Ms. Poonam Saini is working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Management at Sir Padampat Singhania University. She has been working since 2001 in the higher education sector and is one of the founder members of SPSU. She is the Chairperson of MBA (Business Analytics in Collaboration with SAS) and Coordinator of BCA and MCA Programmes at SPSU.
She is MCA, M.Phil. (CS) and pursuing her PhD in the area of Machine Learning. She has been conferred with the best paper awards for her research work by Elsevier and Springer. She has published more than 15 research papers in the field of Image Processing and Machine Learning. She is also having two Indian Patents to her credit. She is a life member of the Computer Society of India. She is a certified IBM Data Science and Google Data Analytics Professional and has done specialisation in Recommender Systems from University of Minnesota, USA.
She has been awarded the Microsoft in Education certificate in recognition of membership in the Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator program. She is a keen learner and has done a number of courses certified by IBM, Google, Microsoft, IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, NPTEL/SWAYAM to name a few.
Mr. K. Saurabh

K. Saurabh is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience spanning over seven years in the industrial domain. Presently holding the esteemed position of Assistant Professor (Level B) at SPSU, he concurrently pursues a Ph.D. as a dedicated research scholar at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad. Driven by a passion for advancing knowledge, his doctoral research is conducted under joint supervision from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM) in Friedberg, Germany. He earned his post-graduate degree (M.Tech.) from the distinguished Department of Information Technology at IIIT Allahabad, complementing his academic journey that began with a B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from IITT College of Engineering, affiliated with Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. His research focus encompasses Time-series Data Analysis and the application of Artificial Intelligence in fortifying the cybersecurity of Cyber-Physical Systems, particularly Industrial IoT. Actively engaged as a member of IEEE, his impactful contributions are evident in over 15 research publications across SCI Journals, International Conferences, and numerous Book Chapters. Recognized for his unwavering commitment to advancing the frontiers of research, coupled with a wealth of practical insights gained through extensive industry exposure, He stands as a valuable asset to both academia and the broader research community.
Ms. Diksha Rangwani
Diksha Rangwani has received B.Tech in Information Technology from College of Technology And Engineering (CTAE) in 2017, M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Sikkim in 2019. She has been double gold medalist during her masters. Currently she has submitted her thesis to Computer Science & Engineering Department at Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, India. Her area of interest is Cryptography & Network Security.
Dr. Manish Tiwari

Dr. Manish Tiwari, is serving as Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at Sir Padampat
Singhnia University, Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. He has more than 15 year work experience in teaching.
He had completed his PhD from Mewar university, Chittorgarh at 2019. Completed his M.Tech with
honors from SOIT, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal(M.P.) and B.E. from JIT Borawan
Khargone(M.P.) He had worked in different universities and College at different post in his tenure. His
research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining. He has 3 books, 25 publications National,
International and Conferences including SCI and SCOPUS, 12 filed Indian patents in his credit. 12
students have successfully obtained their M.Tech degree under his sole supervision as Supervisor.
Prof. Darpan Anand

Prof. Darpan Anand is a Qualified Ph.D. (CS) contributing over 20+ years in Teaching with 20+ years in Teaching (CS), Industry, Research as well as academic administration, and 6+ years of industrial experience including 2+ years of onsite software development at a PCQUEST Best Project-2010 for Airtel and IBM. Currently spearheading efforts as Professor and Head of Department – Computer Science and Engineering at Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, India. His Ph.D. Title is “ID-Based Integrated Authentication
System for e-Governance in INDIA” and the suggestions are recognized by Govt. of India. In the same field of e-governance, AICTE has approved a full pace SWAYAM course under his supervision. Possessing a flair for teaching with the proven ability to apply the best practice-based & innovation-oriented teaching-learning practices, Outcome-based education in engineering education, National Education Policy-2020, as well as a collaborative approach to research and a decentralized & supportive style to academic administration.
He is an academic leader in Teaching, Curriculum Design & Improvisation, Supervise Departmental research efforts, Technical Evaluation of Prospective faculty, Budgetary and Academic Management of the Department, and Target outcome of projects. Current research interests include Data Science-AI& ML, Information Security, Blockchain, Software Defined Network, and e-governance. He is also a designated professor and supervisor for research work at Liverpool John Moores University, London, UK. He has guided several Ph.D. & PG Dissertations. He is an author/co-author of more than 90+research papers (indexed in SCI, ESCI, Scopus, etc.), various books and book chapters (IET, Springer, and Elsevier), patents, etc. He is also a member of various esteemed research associations such as IEEE, ACM, IAENG, TAEI, CSI, AIS, CSTA, etc.
Mr. Rohit Narendra Bokade
