Celebrating knowledge, diversity and inclusiveness Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur worshiped Goddess Saraswati- the deity of knowledge, music, art, wisdom and learning on Feb 14, 2024. The Honourable President, Prof.(Dr.) M.K Vajpayee's resonant chanting of Vedic mantras imbued the air with a sense of solemnity and devotion, setting the stage for a day of reflection and enlightenment. With the blessings of Goddess Saraswati Sir Padampat Singhania University community embarked on the journey ahead in the quest for excellence. The event further gained momentum with the expert lecture colloquium conducted by the Directorate of Research and Publications. Dr. Prasun Chakrabarti, Director Research and Dean International Affairs and Dr. Sadananda Prusty, Dean, School of Management stressed on the need for collaborative research with reputed universities for the betterment of the individual and institution. The esteemed speaker Dr. Sivaneasan Bala Krishnan, Singapore delivered a lecture on ‘Condition Monitoring of Electrical Assets in Smart Grids’. He focussed on renewable energy in power engineering applications.The nurturing environment embraced the ethos of celebration, recognizing that true wisdom lies not only in individual achievement but also in the collective pursuit of knowledge and the shared joy of discovery.
