PM Narendra Modi's National Address to the students to handle examination stress projected at SPSU | February 16, 2018


On 16 February 2018 the live telecast of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's interaction titled "Making Exams Fun: Chat with PM Modi" was projected at Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur. The address focused on examination-related concerns such as exam stress, success and failure in exam. The PM gave valuable tips on handling examination stress, urged them to be confident and explained the importance of staying happy during the examination. He also answered to the queries of the students and stressed the importance of yoga in synchronizing mind and body. The informative and interactive address was attended enthusiastically by the students and faculty members of the University.



SPSU students set out to reach the cherished destinations | February 14, 2018


Wishing all our final year students a bright future, a farewell party 'Anant 2018' was organized by SIR PADAMPAT SINGHANIA UNIVERSITY, Udaipur on 14 February 2018. The evening was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers and reminisced joyous moments spent in the University. Scintillating dance performances, pulsating music and a variety of programmes befitting the occasion created a nostalgic ambience. The curtain was drawn with anticipations of reaching great heights as the students set out for their new journey and carry forward the novelties of the alma mater.



International Cooperation through student Exchange Programme at SPSU | February 10, 2018


The cultural and academic Exchange Programme for students of Chiba University of Commerce, Japan commenced from 10th February 2018 at SIR PADAMPAT SINGHANIA UNIVERSITY, UDAIPUR. A group of Japanese students along with faculty are participating in the programme this year which comprises of various cultural, literary and industrial experiences. The study abroad academic exchange programme of the University is founded on the principle of creating a more peaceful, just and inclusive world through international cooperation and it acts as a forum for exploration of diverse cultures.



SPSU reverberates with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm on the celebration of Republic Day | January 26, 2018


The 69th Republic Day was celebrated with all its solemnity and grandeur at SIR PADAMPAT SINGHANIA UNIVERSITY, Udaipur. The occasion, marked with much fan-fare and festivity has great historic significance; as it was on this day in 1950 that the Constitution of India came into existence and India declared itself as a Sovereign Democratic Republic. The celebration at the University commenced with the customary unfurling of the national flag followed by the National Anthem. The Pro Vice Chancellor, Professor Achintya Choudhary in his address reiterated the need for being resolute in our path to achieve our goals. He motivated the students to be the harbingers of social change to build a new, better and strong India. The celebration brought with itself novelty and a conviction to strive to be better human beings and emboldened the youth to chase their dreams.



Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's 121st Birth Anniversary celebrated at SIR PADAMPAT SINGHANIA UNIVERSITY, Udaipur | January 23, 2018


Patriot of Patriots, Subhash Chandra Bose a national icon and charismatic leader, who gave the slogan 'Jai Hind' was paid a tribute at SIR PADAMPAT SINGHANIA UNIVERSITY on his 121st birth anniversary (Jan 23, 2018). The nationalist leader was fondly known as Netaji or leader after his contribution in establishing and leading the Indian National Army during the course of the Indian freedom struggle. Through a number of activities as skit, speech, presentations etc., the University commemorated the day and brought to light the reminiscences of Bose's struggle. The students, faculty, administrative staff of the University and the students from different schools across the state attending the DST INSPIRE Science Camp organized in the University participated in the celebration with elan and pride.
