SPSU Students Return from Exchange Programme at Chiba University of Commerce, Japan | August 03, 2017


A group of five students Akshay Jharia, Dhairya Jain, Mahima Sharma, Suraj Gwariya and Taha Hussain from the School of Management participated in the 7th Student Exchange Programme at Chiba University of Commerce, Japan from July 15, 2017 to July 30, 2017.They were accompanied by Dr.Shweta Lalwani, Asst. Professor, School of Management, SPSU. The programme focused class room instructions on Civil Movements in Japan, Japanese Arts & Culture, Japanese Financial Markets and learning through industrial visits. The students visited Haneda Chronogate, Yamato Transport Co., JFE Steel Corporation, Asakusa Temple, Sumida Hokusai Museum and Life Safety Learning Center. Various cultural and academic activities were conducted and SPSU students participated enthusiastically in all the activities and won prizes.
In the Poster presentation on 'India' under the activity 'World tour at I Square' SPSU students gave a presentation on their poster to Japanese high school students and participants from 11 countries and 19 universities. Students enjoyed at Disney Sea, Tokyo Tower, Sky Tree and island of Odaiba. The International exchange programme was a unique and wonderful blend of fun and learning.



SIR PADAMPAT SINGHANIA UNIVERSITY, UDIPUR announces 7th International Summer Exchange Programme at Chiba University of Commerce, Japan | July 15, 2017


SIR PADAMPAT SINGHANIA UNIVERSITY, Udaipur has nominated five students of School of Management and one faculty for the 7th International Summer Exchange Programme (16-30th July 2017) at Chiba University of Commerce, Japan.
Besides the academic pursuit the students will also visit industries like Haneda Chronogate, Yamato Transport Co. Ltd, JFE Steel Corporation. They will be exposed to Japanese cultural practices and visit Life Safety Learning Center, Sumida Hokusai Museum and I Square.
Suraj Gwariya, Akshay Jharia, Dhairya Jain, Taha Hussain and Mahima Sharma along with a faculty mentor Dr. Shweta Lalwani, will participate in the Exchange Programme



SPSU Students Selected for International Industrial Training at JK Cements, Dubai | June 27, 2017


A group of 12 final year students of SPSU left for a two month International Summer Industrial Training Programme at J.K. Cement Works, Fujairah, Dubai, UAE, on 27th June 2017. It would be an all expenses paid industrial training programme in the UAE. These students will be paid a stipend to meet their incidental expenses. The cost of international travel, visa fees, stay expenses, transportation including Airport pick and drop, daily pickup and drop from apartment to office and lunch at their canteen or guest-house will be provided by JK Cement Limited. Post one week induction programme, these students will be allotted a live project on the basis of their subject of specialization and a mentor from industry would be assigned to guide and monitor their progress. An orientation programme was arranged in the University campus prior to their departure to acquaint them with the work culture and social ethics to be followed in UAE. The session was conducted by Mr. Tushar Sawhney from J.K. Cement's corporate office, New Delhi. The President Mr. Ashok Ghosh and Vice President Mrs. Rinu Ghosh offered their best wishes to the students.



Celebration of International Yoga Day at SIR PADAMPAT SINGHANIA UNIVERSITY, UDAIPUR | June 21, 2017


Predawn rain failed to dampen the SPSU's spirit to celebrate the International Yoga Day. While the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi takes the initiative in Delhi, the faculty, staff, students and trainees at SIR PADAMAPAT SINGHANIA UNIVERSITY, Udaipur join together to spread their mats and perform Yoga to be a part of the 'New Era' of peace and harmony.



SPSU's Foreign Industrial Training Programme 2017 | May 26,2017


Sir Padampat Singhania University is organizing an International Industrial Training Programme with stipend and all expenses covered at JK Cement Works, Fujairah, Dubai, UAE for selected Final Year students of B.Tech. The training will be for 10 weeks. All expenses, besides monthly stipend, international travel cost, Visa, lodging, boarding and travel within the city will be paid by the company. The students would not only gain international work experience but also get an opportunity to develop cultural sensitivity.
