IDEATHON 2026
Welcome to IDEATHON 2026—a premier national innovation challenge jointly organized by
Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU), Udaipur, in collaboration with L&T EduTech.
IDEATHON 2026 is designed to inspire students to identify real-world challenges and
propose innovative, technology-driven, and sustainable solutions. The competition provides a
platform for aspiring engineers, innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs to showcase their
creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities while addressing industrial and
societal needs.
Participants will work in multidisciplinary teams to develop impactful ideas that demonstrate
technical feasibility, innovation, scalability, and social relevance. The event also offers an
opportunity to interact with industry experts, academicians, and innovation mentors

Competition Format
IDEATHON 2026 will be conducted in three progressive rounds, enabling participants to
refine their ideas and demonstrate their innovation from concept to prototype.
Phase 1: Idea Poster Submission (Screening Round)
All registered teams must submit their idea in the prescribed IDEATHON 2026 Poster
Template. The poster should clearly present:
- Problem Statement
- Proposed Solution
- Novelty
- Technology Stack/Methodology
- Expected Outcomes
- Impact on Society/Industry
- Feasibility and Scalability
The posters will be evaluated by a panel of experts based on innovation, relevance, clarity,
feasibility, and potential impact.
Outcome: Shortlisted teams will be invited to participate in the presentation round at SPSU.
Phase 2: Idea Presentation (Presentation Round)
Shortlisted teams will present their ideas before an expert jury comprising academicians and
industry professionals.
Each team will be allotted a fixed presentation time followed by a question-and-answer
session.
The presentation should include:
- Problem Identification
- Proposed Solution
- Technical Approach
- Innovation
- Implementation Strategy
- Expected Impact
- Future Scope
Phase 3: Prototype Demonstration (Grand Finale)
Teams selected from Round 2 will develop and present a working prototype, proof of
concept (PoC), simulation, software application, hardware model, or functional
demonstration of their proposed solution on the following day.
The final evaluation will focus on:
- Prototype functionality
- Technical implementation
- Innovation and originality
- Practical feasibility
- Scalability
- User experience
- Overall presentation and demonstration
The jury’s evaluation in this round will determine the final winners of IDEATHON 2026.

The overall assessment will be carried out across all three rounds, with increasing emphasis
