The NIRF 2017 rankings have again ranked Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU) for the second year running as one of the leading private university in India by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India. All admissions to SPSU are through the SPSU entrance examinations SPSAT. The candidates are required to qualify in the admission test SPSAT to be conducted separately for different courses.
Candidates have to fill their Admission Application Form online at the SPSU website www.spsu.ac.in by paying Rs. 1175. After the registration, candidates have to take the SPSAT within ten days. Candidates will be informed whether they have cleared SPSAT. After clearing SPSAT, candidates may come to the University and take admission.
Sir Padampat Singhania Admission Test (SPSAT) is the entrance examination for admission to the various programmes in Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur. Applicants are required to book their examination slots through www.spsu.ac.in as per the given schedule. The online test is available only to those eligible applicants who have submitted their application form. A confirmation mail will be sent to the email address after the applicant has booked his/her schedule through the Online Application Form. An applicant is allowed to take a second attempt if they are not satisfied with their performance in the first test. There is no negative marking. Please refer to the university website for details.

SPSU follows the highest level of academic integrity. There is no Management quota or NRI quota. SPSU has no differential fee structure, all students at SPSU pay the same fees both Indian and foreign students.

On campus, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is provided. Everyone (students, management, faculty and staff) on campus have the same food. Students have to give their preference for Vegetarian or Non-Vegetarian food. The menu is decided by the Student Mess Committee. In addition, there is a Food court catering to different tastes as well.
