Prof. Amit Kumar Goel
(Dean, FCI)
Dr. Amit Kumar Goel is a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology
(Mesra). He has vast experience in Software Industry, Academics and Research, spanning over
twenty-five years. He started his career in the capacity of a Software Engineer and later worked
in various prestigious Universities, in India.
His current areas of interest include the field of artificial intelligence, database systems, graphics, machine learning, natural language processing, programming languages and theory of computation. He has published and presented 70+ research papers in various SCI/Scopus- indexed journals and conferences and 15 national/international patents. He has supervised 5 Ph.D. scholars and over 20 Master’s Degree students.
His current areas of interest include the field of artificial intelligence, database systems, graphics, machine learning, natural language processing, programming languages and theory of computation. He has published and presented 70+ research papers in various SCI/Scopus- indexed journals and conferences and 15 national/international patents. He has supervised 5 Ph.D. scholars and over 20 Master’s Degree students.
Prior to joining SPSU in 2024, he had served as Professor cum Dean in Apeejay Stya University
from 2023 to 2024 and HOD-CSE at Galgotias University from 2017 to 2023. His achievement
at various Universities was to implement OBE, NAAC, and CBCS curricula etc

Dr. Ashutosh Gupta
Associate Professor
Dr. Ashutosh Gupta is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science
and Engineering at Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur. He completed his Ph.D. in
computer science and Engineering from Banasthali Vidhyapeeth, Rajasthan. Dr. Gupta has
more than 26 years of teaching and academic experience. He had served in prestigious
institutes ICFAI Tech Jaipur, BIT Mesra Extension Centre Jaipur, SKIT Jaipur, IET Alwar and
Government Polytechnic Sawai Madhopur as Lecturer. He has published several research
papers in international and national journals and conference proceedings. His primary areas of
interest are Cloud Computing, e-Governance and IT enabled Services.
Dr. Anandkumar Atalbihari Bhaskar
Associate Professor
Ph. D. in Electronics from Department of Electronics, Saurashtra University, Rajkot dated
October 10, 2009. Energetic UG and PG level Associate Professor & Head of Department,
Electronics & Communication Engineering, SIr Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, with 18
years of experience in universities of repute. Proponent of utilizing technology to enhance
teaching. Proficient in clearly explaining complex topics to students with all level of scientific
understanding. Total six Ph.D. in Electronics and Comm. Engg. thesis guided and awarded the
degree, five are ongoing. Research interests are in the field of Embedded Systems, Wireless
Sensor Networks and Internet of Things.

Mr. Kamal Kant Hiran has over 18 years of experience in academia, research, and administration in Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America. He has published 21 International books with repute publishers like BPB Publications, IGI Global, De Gruyter, Wiley from India, USA, Germany, UK. He has made significant contributions to our society’s technological transformation. He has several awards to his credit such as International travel grant for attending the IEEE Region 8 Committee Meeting at Warsaw, Poland; International travel grant for Germany from ITS Europe, Passau, Germany; Best Research Paper Award at the University of Gondar, Ethiopia; IEEE Liberia Subsection Founder Award; Gold Medal Award in MTech (Hons.).

Dr. Chandani Joshi working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science and
Engineering at Sir Padampat Singhania University of JkCement, Udaipur, With a rich and
diverse background spanning over 12+ years in the Academics sector, particularly in esteemed
institutions like Banasthali Vidyapeeth. She has a demonstrated history of working in the higher
education industry too. Dr.Joshi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Dr.
Joshi educational journey is a testament to her commitment to excellence in the technical field.
Holding a Doctorate in Image Processing, a Master’s degree (M.Tech) and Bachelor’s degree
(BE) in Computer Science & Engineering, she possesses a solid foundation that underpins her

One of Dr. Joshi’s key strengths lies in curriculum design, where she has demonstrated her
innovative prowess by crafting engaging and impactful educational programs. Her efforts have
resulted in positive outcomes for students, nurturing their learning experiences and fostering a
passion for their chosen fields of study. Along with teaching, she is working actively in the field
of Social Work with the projects in the association with Erasmus, programs funded by European
Union like project RAINBOW for Women Counseling and Empowerment. She is an active
member of IEEE student branch at SPSU Udaipur and have many other technical memberships
such as with Institute of Engineers and CSI. Her areas of interest are Medical Image
Processing, GIS and Remote Sensing, Soft Computing, Deep learning, Cloud Computing She
has published more than 20 papers under her name in reputed journals and conferences.
During her academic journey, she had coordinated and attended many workshops,
conferences, seminars, FDPs. She had been granted by reputed organizations for her research
visits to several countries like Paris (France), Singapore and Malaysia.
Dr. Rahul Kumar
Associate Professor
Dr. Rahul Kumar is working as Associate Professor in Faculty of Computing and
Informatics, Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, India. He is having more than
11+ years of Teaching & Research. He has completed his Ph.D. from Dr. K.N Modi
University (DKNMU), Newai, Tonk, Rajasthan in 2022. Dr. Rahul holds M.Tech in
Computer Science and Engineering from Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur,
Rajasthan. He has completed B.Tech. In Computer Science and Engineering from
ICFAI University, Dehradun, Uttrakhand. Dr. Kumar’s leadership is evident in his
transformative tenure as Deputy Controller of Examination at Dr. K.N Modi University
(2019–2023), where he elevated academic standards, and as Ph.D. Co-coordinator at

Dr. Poonam Saini
Assistant Professor
Dr. Poonam Saini is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computing &
Informatics and has been teaching in the higher education sector since 2001. She is
the Coordinator of BCA and MCA Programmes at SPSU. Her research interests
include Data Science, Data Analytics and Recommender Systems. She is a certified
IBM Data Science and Google Data Analytics Professional and has done
specialization in Recommender Systems from University of Minnesota, USA. She
has published more than 20 research papers in International Journals of Repute and
presented her research work in International Conferences as well. Her research has
been recognized by Elsevier and Springer Conferences with 2 Best Paper Awards.
She has published two books on the subjects of Artificial Intelligence and Web
Technologies. She is a keen learner and has done a number of courses certified by
IBM, Google, Microsoft, IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, NPTEL/SWAYAM to name a
few. She is a Life member of Computer Society of India.
Dr. Harish Tiwari
Assistant Professor
Dr. Harish Tiwari is an experienced academician and researcher in the field of
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with over 18 years of teaching
experience. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor, Dr. Tiwari has contributed
extensively to the field of education and research, with expertise in a variety of
core computing subjects. His dedication to academic excellence and holistic
development of students has earned him recognition as a key faculty member in
the department.
Educational Qualification – PhD in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE),
MTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), B.E. in Information
Technology, Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)

Dr. Manish Tiwari, is serving as Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at Sir
Padampat Singhnia University, Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. He has more than 15 year work experience in teaching. He had completed his PhD from Mewar university, Chittorgarh at 2019.
Completed his M.Tech with honors from SOIT, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya,
Bhopal(M.P.) and B.E. from JIT Borawan Khargone(M.P.) He had worked in different
universities and College at different post in his tenure. His research interests include Artificial
Intelligence, Data Mining. He has 3 books, 25 publications National, International and

Sonali Dhave is a NET-qualified professional currently working as an Assistant
Professor in the Faculty of Computing and Informatics at Sir Padampat
Singhania University, Udaipur. She brings over 11 years of academic
experience, enriched by significant corporate exposure in DevOps and Big
Data. She holds an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Rajiv

Mr. Shubham Kumar Singh is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computing & Informatics at Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU), Udaipur. He holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). He began his professional journey with CGI as an Associate Test Engineer, where he gained practical experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Motivated by a strong commitment to academic and professional growth, he qualified the GATE examination with an impressive score, leading to his admission to the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jaipur,
where he completed his M.Tech in Computer Science and Information Security.
His academic interests include software engineering, cybersecurity, and emerging areas in computer science. He brings a blend of industry and academic experience to his role as a faculty member.

Adnan Pipawala serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science &
Engineering at Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU), Udaipur. With a solid academic
background and recognized achievements, Adnan has developed a reputable career in both
academia and research. His educational journey began with a B.Tech degree from Rajasthan
Technical University, Kota. He went on to earn an M.Tech from Maharana Pratap University of
Technology, where he graduated with a gold medal, a testament to his academic dedication and
proficiency. Furthering his academic qualifications, he completed an MBA from Manipal
University, Jaipur, enhancing his knowledge of management and leadership.
Currently pursuing his Ph.D. at SPSU, Adnan’s commitment to knowledge advancement is
evident through his active participation in academic and research communities. With over two years of teaching experience, he has contributed to the intellectual development of his students
and peers through lectures, mentorship, and involvement in departmental initiatives.
Adnan has published three research papers in Scopus Indexed Journals, underscoring his
dedication to research excellence. His expertise spans a diverse range of interest areas,
including cloud computing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data science, digital
marketing, and cybersecurity. Adnan has also earned certifications in these fields from
esteemed platforms like IBM, Coursera, Google, and Microsoft.

Ms. Konika Abid
Assistant Professor
Ms. Konika Abid is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computing and Informatics at Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, India. She brings over 8 years of teaching and research experience and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering. Her doctoral research focuses on Network Security, Iot And Cloud Security, MAC Randomization and Network Forensics.
She holds M.Tech. and B.Tech. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering, and has previously served at reputed institutions including Sharda University, Chandigarh University, and Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. Throughout her academic journey, she has successfully handled diverse teaching, mentoring, and administrative responsibilities.

Ms. Roopali Kachhi is a committed academic and researcher in the field of
Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science. She holds an M.Tech in Computer
Science and Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya
(RGPV), Bhopal, and a B.Tech from Global Engineering College, Jabalpur. Her
M.Tech research, titled “Deep Learning for Social Well-being: AI-based
Sentiment Analysis to Reduce Loneliness,” focuses on applying deep learning
techniques to analyze emotional patterns in digital communication, aiming to
support mental health and reduce social isolation. She has published two
research papers in reputed international journals and holds one granted patent,
reflecting her dedication to innovation and socially impactful research.

He holds both a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. During his postgraduate studies, Mr. Sen undertook a significant research project for his thesis titled “Plant Disease Detection Using Transfer Learning Approach in Deep Learning.”
