Trees are important, valuable and necessary to our very
existence. Recognising the importance of trees as both a
practical means for conserving the environment and as an
effective awareness raiding activity, SPSU organised a
Plantation Drive
“PLANT A LIFE” on 16th January 2010 in the University campus.
The entire student fraternity was divided in groups of
two who will nurture a small plant into a tree. The
Event commenced with plantation of a plant by Vice
President Ms. Rinu Ghosh and Vice Chancellor Prof. P C
Deka followed by all the faculty members and students.
