A two day workshop on Algorithms was conducted in the University spread over two days . On the first day topics relating to Introduction to Algorithms design & analysis, Basic Graph Algorithms & Data structure besides Greedy Algorithms were dealt with.This was followed by exercises and discussions later in the day. On the second day the focus was on Dynamic programming, Network flows ,NP-completeness and other related topics. Exercises and discussions followed in the later part on the concluding day also. Faculty members and students from the Computer Science & Engg.(including IT ), Electronics & Communication and Bio-Tech Streams attended the Workshop.
