A research paper entitled “A novel pseudo random bit generator based on chaotic standard map and its testing” based on the research conducted by Dr. Vinod Patidar and Prof. K. K. Sud has been published in an international journal “Electronic Journal of Theoretical Physics”.

Debate Competition:
Following the sequence of literary activities of the English Department a debate competition was held on 20th December 2008 in the University. The topic of the debate was: “Only a good scholar can become an all rounder”.
The Winner were:Pooja Naresh - First; Tarang Joshi - Second and Tusher Vittal - Third.
The competetion was attended by the Vice-Chancellor, President and Vice-President of the University.The competition inspired others to take part in future events.
Declamation Contest:
On 27th December 2008 the Declamation Contest was organized in the University. A good number of students took part and their performances were judged on the basis of rhetoric and delivery. In this contest Bharat Singh was the best speaker. Vijay Issrani stood second and Anuj Mehta third.
