All student rooms on campus are sharing basis. The facilities for bath and toilets are shared. All bathrooms have hot and cold water. The entire campus including student residences have clean drinking water (reverse osmosis plant). Further the upcoming new studio apartment fitted with modern amenities will provide accommodation for the faculty & for the final year students of engineering and management.

SPSU is having regular dialogues and contacts with the industry at both academic and non academic levels. It is hoped that this continuous industry interaction will yield good placement opportunities. The Corporate Interface & Placement Cell of the University shall assist all the students for placement. As part of the Training & Placement programme , Summer Training will be provided to the final year students this year. There are around 16 participating Companies with at least 35 live projects for the Summer Training for all the BTech final year students of (2007 -11) batch. The University is having collaboration and partnerships with Organization that are of repute both Nationally & Inter-nationally. It is an authorized centre for certification programme of the Sun Microsystems & Oracle. The centre of excellence of IBM is also functioning within the University campus (along with the SUN-MICRO & ORACLE). The University has also entered into an agreement with PTC (Parametric Technology Center) for providing high quality training and experience in the software of Pro-Engineering, Math-CAD & Windchill. Apart from this the University has linkages with International Institutes and educational bodies for study abroad programme. As per the Agreement signed with the University of Nebraska at Omaha,USA, engineering students from SPSU will complete a full Semester Course with them. Similarly students from the School of Management will have an Immersion experience with the Nebraska University. Other International linkages are with AIA (Association of International Accounting), London to run the foundation and professional courses offered by AIA from within the campus.
