Hogskolan I Boras (UCB) is a university duly constituted under the Swedish laws. It is a young, modern and dynamic university with significant potential for growth. Through its six schools, UCB offers a wide range of educational opportunities to meet tomorrow’s labour needs. Cooperation with business and industry as well as with the local community is as intimate as it is reciprocal.

A total of over 600 teaching and administrative staff support the research and development activity at UCB and assist in fulfilling the educational ambitions of nearly 12500 of the university’s students.

Following intensive discussions and exchange of visits between the representatives of Hogskolan I Boras and the proposed Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU), a comprehensive and perhaps unique academic cooperation plans were finalized. The four documents signed included the following:

• Agreement on Commissioned Education, which will permit Indian students to study in Boras,
• Agreement for Campus India, which will enable Swedish students to study in India
• Agreement on Linkage Agreement, which will enable exchange of faulty, curriculum development, joint research and other academic activities
• Agreement with School of Textiles, which will enable both to cooperate in academic, research and training.
