AIT, Bangkok promotes technological changes
and sustainable development in the Asian- Pacific region through
higher education, research and outreach. Established in 1959,
AIT has become a leading regional postgraduate institution and
is actively working with private and public sector partners
throughout the region and with some of the top Universities in
the world. Recognized for its multi-national, multi-cultural
ethos, the Institute operates as a self-contained international
community at its campus located 40 km north of Bangkok city
centre, Thailand.
The objective of our mutual agreement is to
offer a “Five-year Integrated International Bachelor-Masters
Degree Programme at our University and AIT.
This will promote cooperation between the two institutions by
exposing the students by paving a newer dimension of
collaboration through this unique international Bachelor-Masters
degree programme. It will prepare a trained batch of future
SPSU-AIT researchers for quality research in dedicated fields.
The programme will focus on emerging areas to attract exclusive
class of students.
This programme will offer students a quality education with an
accelerated graduation leading to Bachelor and Masters degrees
in condensed duration at lesser cost with an international
exposure to diversified expertise. During the entire programme,
it will also facilitate interaction of Indian students with
world class faculty/scientists and students from different
countries at AIT. This programme will be economical as compared
with many other available alternatives including individual
degree programmes in India, Thailand, Europe, USA or Australia.
All agreements between AIT and the SPSU will run until November
2016 and may be renewed with mutual consent.
