The University of Nebraska at Omaha, founded in 1908 as the University of Omaha, is the Omaha, Nebraska, campus of the University of Nebraska system, and is the second largest institution of higher education in Nebraska. The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) is Nebraska’s metropolitan university – a university with strong academic values and significant relationships with our community that transform and improve life.
The Memorandum of Understanding has identified the following issues of common interest for cooperation:

UNO-based programmes of study for SPSU students
Faculty Collaboration

Under the Student Exchanges, it is envisaged that UNO will provide a programme of study for undergraduate students from SPSU during the academic year. UNO will also provide customised immersion experience for SPSU students.
Under the Faculty Collaboration, faculty members of both institutions will explore areas of joint research interests and projects. Faculty members of both universities will also explore opportunities for short term teaching and research visits to the partner institution.
The Memorandum of Understanding is valid till June 2019.
