Sir Padampat Singhania University has been established by the JK Cement Nimbahera Foundation, a
Public Trust in October 2007 at Udaipur, Rajasthan as per the
Ordinance of the Govt. of Rajasthan under the provision 2f of
UGC Act 1956. The University proposes to establish five Schools
in various disciplines. The School of engineering has already
been established and offering B.Tech degree programme in six
branches. The University has a sprawling 100 acre campus with
modern class rooms, library and laboratory facilities, 24 hour
Internet, hostels, faculty housing, play ground and other
amenities.
The School of Management has also been established from the academic session 2009-10.
Application in prescribed format are invited for the
following posts:
1. For School of Engineering: Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor,
Lecturer and Teaching Associate in
Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication,
Information Technology, Biotechnology, Civil Engineering and
Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and
English.
Laboratory Technicians for Physics, Chemistry,
Biotechnology, Electronics and Computer labs.
2. For School of Management: Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and
Lecturer in Finance, Human Resources, Information
Technology, Marketing, Economics, Strategic Management and Law.

Qualification and other requirement for the post of :

Professor
Should have consistently good academic career.
Masters degree(with 55%
marks) in engineering/science/arts/commerce/management in the concern subject
from a recognized University. In the case of
Biotechnology, Masters degree in Microbiology,
Biochemistry, Genetics and Chemical Engineering shall
also be eligible.
A doctorate degree from a recognized University or
equivalent published work.
At least 10(ten) years of teaching/research/industry
experience out of which 5(five) years should be at the
level of Associate Professor/Reader or equivalent.
Candidates from industry/profession/academic
institutes with master’s degree in engineering/science
in the concern subject and with
professional/research work which is significant and can
be considered as equivalent to Ph.D degree and with 10
years experience of which at least 5 years should be at
a Senior Level comparable to that of an Associate
Professor would also be eligible.

Associate
Professor
Should have consistently good academic career.
Masters degree (with 55% marks) in engineering/science/arts/commerce/management
in the concern subject from a recognized University. In
the case of Biotechnology, Masters degree in
Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics and Chemical
Engineering shall also be eligible.
A doctorate degree from a recognized University or
equivalent published work or professional/research work
which is significant and can be considered as equivalent
to Ph.D degree.
At least 5(five) years of
teaching/research/professional experience as Asstt.
Professor/Lecturer or in equivalent position.

Assistant
Professor
Should have consistently good academic career.
Masters degree (with 55% marks) engineering/science/arts/commerce/management
in the concerned subject from a recognized University.
In the case of Biotechnology, Masters degree in
Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics and Chemical
Engineering shall also be eligible.
A doctorate degree from a recognized University or
equivalent published work or professional/research work
which is significant and can be considered as
equivalent to Ph.D degree.

Lecturer
Should have consistently good academic career.
Masters degree (with 55% marks) in
engineering/science/arts/commerce/management in the concerned subject from a
recognized University. In the case of Biotechnology,
Masters degree in Microbiology,
Biochemistry, Genetics and Chemical Engineering shall
also be eligible.
OR
B.E/B.Tech (with 60% marks) degree in engineering from a
recognized University in the concerned subject.

Teaching Associate
Should have consistently good academic career.
Masters degree (with 55% marks) in science in the
concerned subject from a recognized University.

B.E/B.Tech (with 60% marks) degree in engineering from a
recognized University in the concerned subject.

Lab Technicians
B.Sc / B.Tech / BCA with 50% marks. Experience in the
relevant discipline shall be desirable.
