SPSU offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes leading to the award of B Tech and MBA degrees. The programmes and the intake processes are detailed below.
B Tech Programme
These programmes are offered by various departments to the students who clear the All India Engineering Entrance Examinations (AIEEE) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in April every year. The intake procedure is based on the rank obtained by the student in the AIEEE.
The nearly 200 credit B. Tech programme is a four year (eight semesters) programme offered by the School of Engineering, designed to impart the fundamentals of professional engineering. The B Tech curriculum factors in a 6 to 8 weeks industrial training project at the end of the sixth semester and a research project in the fourth year. SPSU offers these programmes in the area of Biotechnology, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communications, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
MBA Programme
This programme is offered to the students who clear the various All India management admission tests and is then followed by a Group Discussion and Interview conducted on campus prior to final selection.
The 120 credit MBA programme is a two year (four semesters) programme offered by the School of Management is designed to produce competent managers. The MBA curriculum factors in a 6 to 8 weeks industrial training project at the end of the second semester. The learning methodology comprises case studies, projects and seminars.
