The Center of Excellence was inaugurated on 25th Nov., 2009 by Mr. Himanshu Goel, Country Manager IBM Academic Initiatives.
The IBM Software Center of Excellence here aims at increasing the skill sets of the faculty and students of our college, leading to:
• Improvement in the quality of technical education.
• Increase in the employability of students.
• Placing the college in a leadership position.

Aim
The IBM COE at SPSU conducts workshops, faculty development program and TGMC projects throughout the year. Students get the knowledge and hand on experience on cutting edge technologies and latest tools which help them to develop quality projects and to be employable. IBM’s industry recognized certifications enable our students to perform well in their campus placement. The benefit of IBM certifications and blue scholar certificate are enormous. Since inception we excelled in many areas. Our students selected in first round of TGMC 2010. We have rational suit of products so that students can develop quality TGMC projects.
