Yadupati believes that education makes a man wise; the lack of it leaves him unable to fully appreciate the beauty of life itself. He dreamt of creating a high quality educational institution of higher learning and then decided to name it after the person he admires most – his grandfather Sir Padampat Singhania.

Yadupati Singhania is the scion of the Singhania family, which owns the industrial conglomerate – J K Organisation.

He is also the partner of Juggilal Kamlapat Padampat and PGY Associates Limited.

Yadupati is an engineer by training. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur as a civil engineer in 1976. He is actively involved with various industry, trade and philanthropic organisations, namely The Employers Association Of Northern India, National Council for Cement and Building Materials, Sir Bhagwandas Goenka education Institution, Jodhpur Chamber of Commerce, Alexander Hamilton Institute Inc, Lajpat Rai Memorial Trust, Cement Manufacturers Association, Rotary Club, Rotary International, Kanpur Productivity Council, The Kamla Tower Trust, and Foreign Trade Development (India) Association.

His hobbies are Cricket, Billiards, Tennis, Music, Swimming and Reading.
